Lively stories, careful reporting
We tell accessible stories about dinosaurs, fossils and evolution, with clear, engaging headlines. We distinguish observations from a research team’s interpretation and from unanswered questions. A vivid story must not turn a hypothesis into proof.
How we use AI
AI tools assist with organising research, writing, translation and checks against the available sources. Illustrations may also be created with AI. AI systems are not human subject specialists, and an automated source check is not scientific peer review by external researchers. Editorial responsibility remains with Jürgen Henne.
We identify external expert review only when it actually took place and is documented for the relevant article. AI illustrations are reconstructions, not photographs of fossils or evidence of an animal’s exact appearance.
